How it all started.............

In 2008 my son Russell wrote his second children's novel and asked me to do some of the illustrations. With fear and trembling I agreed to try. It had been over 30 years since I tried my hand at drawing anything. I bought some drawing pencils and got started. The first drawings were pretty rough but it got easier and a whole lot more fun as I drew more. His book, "Adventures of the Palo 2: Journey to the Ashland", was just printed.
